Hourbook Privacy Policy

The short version
Hourbook is a time tracking and invoicing app made by Tarahbi Apps ("we," "us"). This policy explains, plainly, what happens to your data. The short version is that we do not collect it. Everything you enter stays on your own device, and Hourbook makes no network calls to send us anything.
No data collection
Hourbook does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal or business information on our servers or anywhere off your device. We have no servers that receive your data. The app makes no network calls for the purpose of sending us your information. This is why our Google Play Data Safety declaration reads no data collected and no data shared.
Where your data lives
Everything you enter into Hourbook, including clients, projects, time entries, invoices, your business profile, and settings, is stored locally on your device in an on-device database. It stays on your phone.
No account, no sign-in
Hourbook has no user accounts and requires no registration, email, or login. There is nothing to sign up for, and all functionality is available without any special access.
No ads, no trackers
Hourbook contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not use cookies or advertising identifiers, and we do not share anything with any third party, because we have nothing to share.
Permissions
Hourbook asks for a permission only when a feature you use needs it, and the result stays on your device:
- Photos or storage are requested only if you choose to add a business logo to your invoices. The image is copied into the app on your device and is never uploaded.
- Biometrics are used only if you turn on the optional app lock. Authentication is handled by your device, and Hourbook never sees your biometric data.
- Internet and billing are used only by Google Play to process an optional Hourbook Pro purchase or subscription. Hourbook has no server of its own and uploads none of your data.
Backups and exports
Hourbook lets you create local backups, export your time as a CSV file, and share invoices as PDF files. These files are created only at your request and stay on your device unless you choose to share or move them yourself. Once you share a file with another app or service, that file is handled under that service's terms, not ours.
Purchases and subscriptions
Hourbook Pro is optional and is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime unlock. All of these are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see or receive your payment details, and subscriptions are managed by you in the Google Play Store. Google handles those transactions under Google's own privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Because your data lives only on your device, you can delete all of it at any time. Delete individual clients, entries, and invoices inside the app, clear the app's storage in your device settings, or uninstall Hourbook.
Children
Hourbook is a business tool intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the last updated date at the top. Because Hourbook collects no data, we do not expect material changes to how your information is handled.
